ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s former ambassador to the US Husain Haqqani responded to the Supreme Court orders of not allowing him to leave the country by tweeting that he did not return to Pakistan to "leave without an investigation."
Haqqani further tweeted that he had resigned because no one could represent their country as ambassador in the middle of a media trial.
The Supreme Court on Thursday said that the former ambassador could not leave the country as it accepted petitions filed in regards to the memogate scandal for hearing.
